Sandy Fisher is an artist, teacher, interior designer, and interior decorator living in Marietta, GA. She has BFA degrees in both Fine Art and Interior Design.

 

As a fine artist she paints both portraits and landscapes, and uses either watercolor and oil, as appropriate for the subject.

 

She was first influenced by Claude Monet while living and travelling in Europe, and seeing the landscape and buildings at first hand. When she is painting portraits she is influenced by John Singer Sargent, whose portrait style is related to Monet's style. She continues to study portrait painting with a master portrait artist in Atlanta.

In addition to painting, she teaches basic painting, color theory and practice in her studio in Marietta.
